If you are on repeat medication, details of your required medication will be entered on our computer and you may be able to order these without having to be seen by your doctor each time. This will enable you to obtain your regular prescription for a fixed length of time which will be reviewed periodically by your doctor. You will be issued with a computer slip showing details of your medication.
Repeat prescriptions can no longer be ordered on this website. We have introduced a new online service for ordering your repeat prescriptions. This improved service is more efficient and will make it much easier for patients to order their repeat medications.
This new service is called Vision On Line Services and information sheets are available at reception. To access this service you will need to print out and complete the tear off slip below or collect one from the practice and either hand it in to reception or email it to: email@example.com
Repeat medications can only be ordered online using the new service. Please ensure you complete and return the slip to the practice before your next order is due.
Once registered future prescriptions can be ordered at www.patient-services.co.uk
Prescriptions will be available for collection within two full working days (after 3pm).
If you wish your repeat prescription to be sent direct to a pharmacy of your choice you must register with the pharmacy for this service before ordering on line.
Due to the volume of requests for repeat prescriptions we do not deal with requests over the telephone.
Should you lose or mislay your repeat reorder form the receptionist will be happy to print out a copy for you. Please ask at the reception desk.
From time to time, you may be invited to attend the surgery for a review of your repeat medication. You will be informed about this when you pick up your repeat prescription.
PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION DURING YOUR CONSULTATION
The practice does not accept unused or out of date medications from patients or their representatives, however, your local pharmacy will be happy to accept them.
